Well it’s not long now until I get to shoot the wedding of Katie & Adam by the sea-side in Blackpool, so we decided to get together and sort out their Pre Wedding Photo Shoot. As usual it took place at the beautiful Beacon Fell. Unlike the last few Pre Wedding Photo Shoots I have done there, the weather was flat, dull and the cloud was menacingly low without being low enough to be useful! So even though there would be no fantastic sunset pictures for us today, it didn’t stop us from having a great time.
We started off with some walking shots, just to get Katie & Adam used to being in front of the camera and taking directions from me. Like Ducks to Water they were soon walking in super-slow-motion through the tree’s!
Reflections! I love reflections!
We found a lovely little wooded shady area off the beaten track. With a subtle flash from camera left, we could pull Katie & Adam out of the shadows.
I used a flash on a stick here to bring this couple out of the darkness. Really simple and it gives a great result.
Everyone wants to re-enact Dirty Dancing up at Beacon Fell!
Thank you Katie & Adam for a great couple of hours wandering around in the mud!
