I’m really happy to announce that I have won an International Wedisson Award in the 23rd collection. The winning photo is from Rob and Emma’s Lake District Wedding which took place in Cathedral Cavern near to Langdale.
Despite it being one of the most technically challenging locations I have shot in, I loved shooting in Cathedral Cavern.
Access is via a steep path, followed by a short dripping tunnel which opens up into the most fantastic open space. There is a large hole at the rear of the cave which allows lots of light to enter.
Rob and Emma’s family had lit candles all around which lifted the ambient light ever so slightly.
Definitely one of my favourite weddings EVER!!
